Dioskurio

Artist

Dioskurio

Dioskurio bridges Georgia's ancient echoes and the modern dance floor, weaving polyphonic singing and church chanting into melodic, organic grooves. The name is a tribute to Dioscuria — the ancient name for his home city of Sokhumi, once part of the Kolkhi Kingdom, occupied by Russia since the war in 1993. His music is how he keeps those voices heard beyond its borders. He is also the founder of DreamWood Records and a co-founder of the DreamWood Festivals, building a space in Georgia where nature, culture and music converge.
